Description
The business analyst participates as a project team member and is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, documenting business process reengineering findings, assisting in the documentation of functional specifications, and assisting in executing pre-implementation testing to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
Expertise and back ground in Auto Originations is a big plus.
Responsibilities:
? Project Support (20%)
. Assist Project Manager and Systems Analysts as a liaison to internal LOB sponsors
. Contribute business or process knowledge and perspective during Design Reviews
. Assist in producing and monitoring work / project plans
. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project managers, clients, technology, CAF team members, other lines of business
? Business Requirement Development and Documentation (65%)
. . Translate business needs into business requirements utilizing knowledge of business objectives and the project lifecycle
. Document business requirements with guidance from the Project Manager and business subject matter experts and ensure accuracy and sufficient detail to avoid adjustments once coding begins (presuming business needs remain constant)
. Verify business requirements satisfy the business workstream needs, meet the agreed upon commitments and are completed and approved within the required timeframes
. Conduct and/or participate in requirement walkthroughs with the full project team to ensure understanding and feasibility
. Develop use cases, when applicable, to explain and/or demonstrate business requirements to the technology team
. Partner with the technology team and project manager to document functional requirements that correspond to business requirements
. Participate in the change control process and monitor impact on business requirements
. Assist with analyzing issues or problems and provide recommendations on potential solutions
. Ensure risks and issues are escalated to project manager or workstream leader in a timely manner and follow up to ensure timely resolution or mitigation of issue / risk
. Provide regular status updates on outstanding issues and resolution status to project manager and team
. Manage day-to-day individual workload, project dependencies, and regularly report on progress
? Testing and Deployment (15%)
. Participate in executing test plans and test scripts during IST and UAT
. Participate in issue tracking and reporting during IST and UAT
. Assist project manager and/or subject matter expert in ensuring end users have all necessary information to allow proper training and timely implementation of new processes and procedures
