Engineer Server Level II – Garden City

Position Summary:

The Level II Engineer installs, maintains, and troubleshoots server software and hardware. The Level II Engineer works with Server Engineering staff to design server infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

-Responsible for day-to-day administration of the Windows Server environment
-Maintains and supports JetBlueÁ’s Windows networking infrastructure including Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and others
-Maintains MS-SQL database applications and interfaces with business units to move projects to completion and support in a production mode
-Supports and troubleshoots server based applications on a local and remote level throughout the enterprise
-Configures, enhances, or upgrades server hardware as needed to keep up with the growing demands of the user population
-Monitors servers and addresses daily server issues
